	Apple Pie Fund Raiser
Every fall, usually late October early November, a group of volunteers make at least 2000 apple pies! That's right - over 2000 PIES! Orders are taken ahead for Double Crust or Dutch apple pies. Approximately 95 bushels of apples are peeled and cored. Pies are assembled and placed in poly bags with baking directions. Pies may be frozen for future use - if you can withstand the temptation of baking them right away. Many hours of planning and hard work goes into this fund raiser, but the camaraderie among parents and staff  is the hidden blessing. An extra hand is always needed.
